A staleness scanner watches for expired or inconsistent listings and suppresses them, so an agent does not treat lapsed standing as current. Ambiguous or high-stakes cases do not auto-approve — they route to a named human who reads the verification evidence and decides. Consistent checks against submitted and third-party sources let your team clear rising volume without lowering the assurance standard it is accountable for.
Where accountability sits, and where we stop
Elidian verifies standing before a transaction begins and stops there by design — it does not negotiate, contract or settle, and it consumes upstream identity and credential assertions rather than minting its own. Your governors set the rules, approve who is onboarded, and adjudicate disputed verifications; they hold the fiduciary duty for what the venture relies upon as trustworthy. Every discovery and selection event is logged, so an auditor or regulator can reconstruct which counterparties were considered, which were returned, and why.
We are pre-launch, and we describe the opportunity in ranges rather than forecasts. The impersonation losses we cite come from human email fraud, so they are a proxy for agent commerce, not a direct measurement; early directory coverage will be modest; and the onboarding benchmark comes from a vendor reference without a disclosed methodology. We would rather state those limits than round them away.
