What a cookie is, and what this covers

A cookie is a small file a site stores in your browser so it can recognise your browser next time. This policy also covers similar technologies — local storage keys and scripts that behave the same way.

It covers elidian.ai. Where a third party sets cookies inside its own embedded widget or on its own pages, we say so and its policy applies there.

Strictly necessary cookies

These keep the site working. They are set on an essential basis and cannot be turned off, because without them the site cannot do what you asked it to.

ftlab-cookie-consent — set by elidian.ai, stores the cookie choices you made, kept for 1 year. Without it we would have to ask you on every page.

Preference cookies

These remember choices you make so the site feels the way you left it. Turning them off costs you those choices, nothing else.

venture-theme-elidian — stored by this site in your browser's local storage, remembers whether you chose the light or dark theme. It stays until you clear your browser data.

Analytics

We measure aggregate usage with Plausible Analytics, which works without cookies and stores nothing on your device. There is no identifier to give you, because none is created.

Even so, its script loads only after you allow the analytics category.

What we do not set

No advertising cookies. No cross-site tracking cookies. No fingerprinting, and no data broker pixels.

We do not sell the data any of these cookies produce, because we do not sell personal data at all.

Managing your consent

You can change your choice at any time from the "Cookie preferences" link in the footer. Withdrawing consent stops non-essential cookies being set from that point; it does not remove ones already in your browser, which you can clear yourself.

Your consent state is stored in your browser, so clearing your browser data resets it and we will ask again.

Every browser also lets you block or delete cookies directly. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will break parts of this site.

Changes to this policy

We update this list when the cookies we set change. If you think something is set that is not listed here, tell us at hello@elidian.ai — that is a bug in this document and we want to fix it.

Document status

This cookie policy was reviewed by legal counsel on 2026-09-01 and has been in effect since that date. It may be revised; the current version is always the one published on this page, and material changes are announced before they take effect.
